CM: Ballo-Toure’s Werder Bremen move will speed up Calafiori to Milan

By Euan Burns -

The chances of Fode Ballo-Toure moving to Werder Bremen in the coming days increasing means that AC Milan can speed up their move for Riccardo Calafiori, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan will be happy with the recent news that Ballo-Toure has struck an agreement with Werder Bremen on personal terms and the move could be secured in the coming days.

There is not currently an agreement between the two clubs, but Milan only want €5m including bonuses so the deal may be easy to reach.

Once that deal has gone through, Milan are expected to get much more serious about their move for Calafiori.

The FC Basel defender is the primary choice to be back up to Theo Hernandez as there is a belief that he has developed considerably since he left Italy.

The hitch is that Basel and Milan are not in total agreement on the loan formula.

  1. I don’t see how Califiori is better than Bozzolan. And he (Bozzola) was sent to the abyss of Italian football so that our genius coach will avoid the pressure of playing him because, as you’ve guessed right, “he is not ready”.

  2. And im so curious about bartesaghi, is there any better moment to try this youngster than throw him on seri A match?, Why spend money on calafiori if we have a good LB/CB to back up theo?, Ooo i forget, u r right he is not ready

  3. pioli has always been mediocre. haven’t seen enough passion and mentality and it is clearly visible on the pitch. i believe in our scudetto season ibra was more influential than pioli himself. without ibra’s mentality in our dressing room i doubt we can do much, especially after signing so many players. while ibra might lack tactical knowledge to be a coach, i don’t see pioli is good either. i would rather have ibra as a coach for real.
