Fulham appear to be closing in on the signing of Florentino Luis from Benfica, but Milan could reportedly still have a say.
Florentino is a name that has regularly been linked with Milan over the past few weeks as they eye reinforcements for the midfield after Lucas Biglia’s departure and the uncertainty over the future of Rade Krunic.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported earlier in the month that Milan have not given up on the idea of signing Florentino to reinforce the midfield, who is valued at €30million by Benfica.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Florentino Luis is in fact very close to joining Premier League returnees Fulham. He adds though that if Milan do not send signals of their interest by next week, he will complete a move to west London.
It seems at the moment as though the Rossoneri are prioritising moves for Tiemoue Bakayoko and Sandro Tonali, but if either were to fall through it seems they could potentially turn back to the Portuguese starlet.
