CM: Bonaventura closing in on AC Milan farewell – options for the future

By Isak Möller -

In addition to Gigio Donnarumma and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan will also meet with Mino Raiola for Giacomo Bonaventura. The midfielder’s contract expires in the summer and his future remains uncertain.

As of today, in fact, the former Atalanta man’s future appears far away from Milan. After six years, 141 appearances and 29 goals, Jack seems destined to leave Milanello. The road for a contract renewal is uphill, as Calciomercato.com reports.

After the game between Milan and Juventus, Raiola was clear on the matter: “A renewal? He doesn’t play much and isn’t happy,” as cited by the outlet. In the 4-2-3-1 formation, Stefano Pioli has preferred to start Ante Rebic on the left flank.

For this reason, it wouldn’t make sense to ignore the possible farewell at the end of the season. So, where can the midfielder go? Per the report, the Fiorentina and Roma tracks remain alive, while a move abroad is also possible.
