There are no signs at the moment that Davide Calabria will renew his contract at AC Milan and as a result the management are looking around for potential replacements, a report claims.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, there are no encouraging signals at present which suggest that the 11 year bond between Calabria and the Rossoneri will be renewed, in fact a separation by the end of the season ‘seems increasingly likely’.

This is why Milan are looking for a right-back even after the arrival of Emerson Royal during the summer transfer window. The mission for Geoffrey Moncada and his team is to find a young player with versatility, who is skilled in both phases and who also has good experience.

For this reason – without forgetting the growth that Alex Jimenez is showing in Serie C with Milan Futuro – the name of Tiago Santos of Lille continues to be monitored.

He is a profile that has been liked since the summer (we were the first to report the interest), even more than Matty Cash (the same age as Calabria) of Aston Villa and Kieran Trippier of Newcastle.

The performance that Santos put in against Real Madrid in the league phase of the Champions League did not go unnoticed and the management will continue to watch him in case Calabria really does depart.
