CM: Calhanoglu has no intention of leaving Milan; will reject all January offers

By Oliver Fisher -

Midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu wants to remain at Milan beyond January amid speculation over his future, a report claims.

The Turkey international was linked with a number of clubs in the summer, with il Corriere dello Sport (via MN24) stating that talks between the Milan and Torino over Calhanoglu had reached an intense stage.

Calciomercato.com reported that Paolo Maldini would be willing to sell the 25-year-old for the right price but the player was determined to stay, having already rejected advances from Fenerbahce.

The same outlet recently provided an update on the future of the former Hamburger SV star by stating that a renewal of his contract – which expires in 2021 – is not a priority.

Now, they have provided yet another new twist, claiming once again that Calhanoglu would like to stay at Milan.

As a result, the ex-Leverkusen man does not intend to listen to any offers in January, and at the end of the season a reflection on his future will be made.
