AC Milan still have Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer on their list of targets but he is currently dividing the opinion of the management.
The Rossoneri were heavily linked with a move for Ajer throughout the summer window and continue to be tipped to move for a number of targets given their eventual failure to bring in a new centre-back.
MilanNews24 recently reported how the Norwegian defender remains in the sights of Milan but the €30million asking price represents an obstacle, though some proceeds from the sales of Musacchio or Duarte could be put towards.
According to what Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo is reporting (via @ACMilan_FR), Ajer is still on the list of central defenders who are of interest to Milan, but he is not a first choice.
The 22-year-old is a very popular profile for sporting director Ricky Massara, but technical director Paolo Maldini is not quite as keen as his colleague and it seems other targets are a priority.
