CM: Chelsea forward could join Milan by end of week as clubs settle on ‘fair’ price

Sources continue to come forward claiming that AC Milan are very close to finally completing the signing of Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, the next few hours will feature intense negotiations between Milan and Chelsea as they aim to close the deal for Pulisic, who Stefano Pioli wants as a wild card for his attack.

Discussions between the parties took place yesterday to bridge the gap between the demands of the Blues (€25m) and the first offer from Milan (€14m plus bonuses), while Pulisic and his entourage continue to push for the move.

The USA international chose to join Milan in March and even in the last few hours he reaffirmed his firm determination to move to Italy and start a new chapter of his career there, putting aside the other offers he received.

Pulisic reached an agreement some time ago with Milan over a four-year contract which will see him earn a salary of €4m net per season, and he hopes to be able to move to Milan by the end of this week.

The latest offer from Furlani and Moncada was €22m including bonuses, a figure considered fair by all also considering that Pulisic’s contract with Chelsea expires in June 2024.

The excellent relations between the two clubs have further contributed to the acceleration.
