Agent Jorge Mendes seems to have some grand ideas for how AC Milan should look next season and wants to help the club make three signings, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.com, Mendes has already made his move in the ‘chess game’ that is Milan’s future and now awaits the response. Sergio Conceiçao of Porto is the man that he has put forward to be the new head coach, given he could leave very soon.
For Milan the dream remains Thiago Motta and it could remain so considering that the coach who created the Bologna miracle has an agreement with Juventus and intends to respect it, but until the signatures arrive a faint hope remains.
Paulo Fonseca has a verbal agreement with Marseille, but will communicate his choice only after May 19th because he is waiting to understand Milan’s intentions. In the meantime Mendes is pushing Conceicao but he had not convinced all the management who have asked for time.
It is a case that one door could open two more though because Mendes’ plan for Milan also includes two very interesting players that would resolve two critical issues in the squad. The first is the right-back Tiago Santos of Lille and the other is Manuel Ugarte of PSG.
We were the first to exclusively report the Santos idea and he could arrive to challenge Davide Calabria’s spot, while the latter could join via the formula of a loan with option to buy.
Of course he’s got some good ideas for Milan, nice little earner for these blood sucking agents.
So nice of Jorge to “help”. Maybe PSG doesn’t want to deal with him after their last mercato filled with Mendes donkeys, he’s looking for another victim. Give this man the keys of Casa Milan he’ll fit well.
Mendes is only open to helping his bank balance.
I won’t mind Conceição BUT this is what I actually feared.. We’ll be linked by players who are represented by Mendes’ agency, Conceição would also be “required” to play and integrate those players and lastly, we would forever be linked to all his clients, often with inflated prices. I meant, Conceição hasn’t even been confirmed and this rumour mills are already hard at work to push those players into our news’ prominence.
That’s a lot of baggage. Hopefully I’m just overthinking it.

I dont know about tiago santos but calabria had an awful season and is a mediocre player. I think he dont deserve to be Milan captain.
ugarte is worth it. the rest of the mendes players e’s trying to offload is what worries me about the conciecao signing.
