CM: Confirmations arrive regarding Milan’s interest in PSV star – a perfect profile for Elliott

By Oliver Fisher -

Confirmations have reportedly arrived that AC Milan are looking at signing PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen.

Sunday morning’s newspapers have spoken of Milan’s intentions to try and bring in a new centre-forward in the January window who can be a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and allow the Swede to manage his workload.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com reporter Daniele Longo, Milan are indeed interested in the Netherlands international, who at 21 years of age fits perfectly in line with the Elliott project.

That is because he is a very young player with enormous potential, both in terms of talent and from an economic standpoint, and he is a player who has in fact been repeatedly linked with Milan in the past.

Another quirk is that his agent is Mino Raiola, who is obviously on good terms with Milan given he manages Alessio Romagnoli, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
