CM: Daniel Maldini in demand – the possibilities as agent schedules meeting with Milan

Daniel Maldini has returned to AC Milan after a successful loan spell at Monza, but it is far from guaranteed that he will remain at the club beyond the summer window.

According to Calciomercato.com, Maldini is enjoying his post-season holidays but he knows that the next few weeks will be huge in deciding his future. The six months spent with Monza have highlighted the qualities of a talent who can make the difference if placed in the right environment.

The Brianzoli have already expressed to Milan their desire to sign the attacking midfielder on a permanent basis but it will not be an easy mission for Adriano Galliani because there is competition from two Italian clubs.

The phone of Beppe Riso – Daniel Maldini’s agent – has been ringing often in recent days. Several teams have asked for information on Paolo’s son, with Roma and Atalanta having tested the waters as well as teams from abroad.

There is still no contact with Milan for any of the clubs but what emerges is that Daniel’s priority would be to stay in Serie A, perhaps with Milan given his attachment, but the signals coming from the Rossoneri management point towards a different direction.

Riso is already planning a summit with Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani to understand what plans Milan have for Daniel Maldini. One option is to renew the contract expiring in 2025 and then evaluate another loan.

However, if important offers arrive which are €10m or more, then it cannot be ruled out that Daniel and Milan will part ways as early as this summer, with the Diavolo getting a full capital gain in the process.
