CM: Defender happy to stay at Milan as Man Utd open to sale for €15-18m – the latest

AC Milan are set to explore the idea of keeping Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot beyond the end of the season, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have been left with a good impression after Dalot’s first season in Italy and they believe that he has adapted well given his age, valuing his versatility highly as he can play both on the left and right side of defence.

Dalot, for his part, is happy at Milan and for this reason he is also open to staying at the club beyond the expiry of his loan spell in June. The Rossoneri management are currently thinking about the idea therefore of extending his loan until summer 2022.

Manchester United do not consider Dalot unsellable and they would in fact part with him for €18m, though a deal could be done around the €15m plus bonuses mark. Milan are also evaluating the potential signing of Danilo D’Ambrosio from Inter though as it would be a free transfer, so Napoli are monitoring and could enter concretely for the Portuguese.
