CM: Donnarumma asks for time as Milan table best possible offer – the figures and the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still waiting for a response after submitting their latest offer to Gianluigi Donnarumma and his agent Mino Raiola, a report claims.

The date of June 30 is approaching and Donnarumma still does not yet know where he will play next season, or at least it is not official, while Milan must also be wondering who will be between the sticks next season.

According to Calciomercato.com, it is a question to which Maldini and Massara want an answer soon. It is clear that a large part of the mercato is linked to how Milan will end the season and in particular whether the qualify for the Champions League, but for Donnarumma it is a different story.

Milan have always been willing to make sacrifices to keep him as demonstrated by the rich offer of renewal presented to his agent of €7.5m net which with bonuses can reach €8m – €2m more than he currently earns. This is the highest possible offer from the club’s point of view and an economic effort that the management believe to be more than enough.

Donnarumma has not yet said no, but he has not answered and instead took some time – in agreement with Raiola. Raiola would like more money for his client, around €10m net, and a shorter contract than Milan’s proposed five years. To all this must be added the request for a double-digit commission. Maldini and Massara know how important Donnarumma is, but they have no intention of ‘bleeding out’. The best possible offer is already on the table, now they are waiting for signals from Gigio.
