CM: €30m Milan winger unconvinced by Wolves and Everton – Dortmund could change everything

By Oliver Fisher -

The future of Rafael Leao is up in the air and he has a market outside Serie A with Milan willing to sell, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com writes that Milan do not see his sale as a necessity but rather as an opportunity to monetise and finance other movements in the attacking department. The asking price is at least €30m, a figure that would allow a significant capital gain to be entered into the balance sheet and at the same time give Maldini and Massara leeway to operate on other targets.

Agent Jorge Mendes informed Milan of interest from Wolves and Everton during his most recent meeting with the management, and with the Toffees he tried to strike up a swap deal to bring James Rodriguez to Milan.

At the moment Leao is not convinced of the offers that have arrived and would prefer to stay at Milan, but Borussia Dortmund are interested and the German club would be a more than welcome destination for Leao. Only enquiries for the time being, but if that were to turn into a concrete offer then the track could take off quickly.
