CM: Fenerbahce make Krunic their No.1 midfield target – Milan’s current stance

By Oliver Fisher -

Confirmations have arrived regarding the news that Fenerbahçe have made Rade Krunic their main target for the midfield.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com,  the Turkish club would like to reform the Bosnian national team duo with Edin Dzeko, who moved to them last month, as was reported by Sports Digitale yesterday.

In the past few days there have been some talks between the intermediary Sergio Berti and the Milan management to sound out their willingness to open negotiations.

However, Stefano Pioli considers Krunic as a key part of the project for next season and that is why he is not at all keen on the idea of losing the former Empoli man.

The Rossoneri have made it clear that the 29-year-old is not for sale and could only leave in the face of a truly irrefutable offer. At the moment, however, Fenerbahçe have not yet prepared any formal bid to send to Milan.

  1. I’ll have to agree, Krunic isn’t the best at any area on the pitch but his versatility can be quite useful, it’ll be good to have him around, rarely puts a foot wrong, doesn’t contribute much either but he covers whatever position he’s given adeptly

    1. Only if we can get Amrabat or Ricci or Vlasic as a replacement

Although I worry about touch change and Krunic brings stability to our squad

    1. how does it look like a good deal when the article even says that fenerbache hasnt even made a formal bid yet ?

      1. Yes. Than when you read article like this can question yourself why read them in first place when nothing is written…

        1. Theres a lot of articles styled like that but at least it tells that the turks has an interest but thats the exact same news as yesterday so yeah nothing new under the sun here.

  2. No, we cant sell him, he’s the only midfielder from last season we’ll have for a while, he’ll be important for the squad as it starts to gain experience

    he is also versatile

  3. Selling Krunic makes no sense from any perspective. Not the most flashy player but for the closing part of last season he got a lot done and most people may not notice but he was a balancing figure in that midfield. Unless we are to sign Amrabat as a replacement, then why not.

  4. let him go, he hasn’t enough quality to Play in Milan, he isn’t key player he just player of Pioli.
if i were coach of Milan, player like him i wouldn’t let him even into the stadium. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      1. I am with Milanista with this one..@Milanista – will you accept me as a Assistant Coach ?

Imo he is still better then Pobega, but i would tell Kruninho to accept the Fenerbahce offer, give Zeroli a chance to prove him self or buy Musah and forget about Krunihho whos biggest accomplishment is to pass the ball back because he just can not pass a lovely trough ball to one of our wingers or attackers.

  5. They haven’t submitted any offer. I’d rather he stay at this point. We will likely sign a starter and he can still be a substitute.

  6. Krunic is a player with class, composure and organise….we shouldn’t be so worried about keeping him for another two seasons….is development is underrated honestly

  7. Ohh, okay that’s why we had YUNUS MUSAH’s rumor. Yunus Musah might be bought if Krunic out.

I like that idea, Krunic Out & Yunus Musah In. That’s improvement in everyway.

  8. Krunic is very versatile and Pioli appreciates him too much to let him go. Unless of course we get a Tonali offer for him, which won’t happen, especially out of Turkey.
