CM: Fonseca weighing up Liberali temptation ahead of Torino game – the latest

Christian Pulisic is back training with the rest of the AC Milan squad after shrugging off a knock, but Paulo Fonseca remains tempted by the idea of using Mattia Liberali.

Calciomercato.com report that Pulisic has fully recovered from a knock to the ankle that forced him to miss the last couple of training sessions and is a strong candidate for a starting spot for the league debut against Torino on Saturday evening.

Fonseca has very few doubts about the starting line-up given that the only certain absence should be that of Emerson Royal who – due to bureaucratic issues related to the procedure for obtaining a residence permit – has had to return to London.

Another open question at Milan is how the young talents will be used who impressed during the pre-season campaign and who are preparing to begin their professional adventure in Serie C in the ranks of Milan Futuro.

This is the case in particular for Mattia Liberali, the attacking midfielder who shone in the USA and again on Tuesday evening, in the Silvio Berlusconi Trophy against Monza. Fonseca could decide to have him on the bench for the first match of the season.

The same situation applies for Kevin Zeroli and Francesco Camarda, even if they are more likely to play with the Futuro on Saturday afternoon (at 18:00) against Novara in the second round of the Coppa Italia.
