The AC Milan management are looking ahead to the January transfer window and another report has claimed that Genoa’s Morten Frendrup is in their sights.

Calciomercato.com confirm La Gazzetta dello Sport’s story from earlier in the day, stating that Milan are once again evaluating Frendrup after making previous contacts. The Danish international is tied to Genoa by a contract expiring in 2028, but his asking price could well be set to drop.

Last season the 24-year-old surprised everyone with his quality and consistency of performance levels, while this season he is continuing his good form. Milan really like Frendrup because he has stamina, dynamism, an excellent reading of the game and tactical versatility.

They believe Frendrup is ready for a big club in Serie A and the directors are considering a move as early as January. The economic problems that have affected Genoa’s owners – the 777 investment fund – could help things.

Frendrup is very attached to the Grifone and would prefer to finish the season there but at the same time he would be happy to help the club with the money from his transfer. Last season Genoa wanted €20m, but now the price could drop and Milan will battle Brentford for his signature.

    1. Melegoni bruh you don’t know football bruh. I don’t agree to go for Morten but Anyone is better than melegoni bro said ramdom Italian just to name him

  1. Liverpool were also keeping tabs on him, I think he would be a great sub for Fofana, who is currently the only player capable of filling that role.

We also need another CM. Bennacer and RLC sales should bring in the profit. Maybe then Gnoto and Orsolini in attack, because we are definitely not getting Ricci…

  2. I’m going to name a few CDM from realistic to unrealistic
    Florentino Louis from Benfica
    Matteo Prati from Cagliari
    Samuele Ricci from Torino
Lucas Gourna Douath from RB Salzburg
    Maxence Caqueret from OL
    Cheick Doicoure from Crystal Palace
    Angelo Stiller from Stuttgart
    Pepelu from Valencia CF
    Eric Martel from Koln
    Jerdy Schouten from PSV

      1. Caqueret as Reinders sub and Stiller on top would be just a steal, he will definitely develop into one of the best registas in the new gen…

      2. This team really needs a CAM too. I think Ryan Cherki from OL is a dynamic player, but he mostly plays on the right. He could be an excellent option to replace Chuk.

          1. why not both?! but I think more CAM-like strikers will be brought instead of traditional 10s… hence Maldini is a bit more realistic since he can play RW and CF roles, but Ferguson is

  3. We need to build an Italian core – bring back some national pride which will help us find the Milan identity again – I’m not Italian, but I love Milan and we need more Italian players.

I wish we could go for players like Scalvini, Retegui, Ricci, Maldini, Pafundi, Kayode etc…

    1. Retegui and Scamacca are 40M players in Atalanta’s eyes… yet can’t even pay 22M to us… Scalvini and Ricci are entering their final years so if we are actually ambitious or not, Kayode made so much sense before Emerson Royal and Maldini is I think depending on his development, if he shines we own his 50% and Monza’s director and player’s father is our goat…

  4. Playing 4 2 3 1, Milan need a real AM who is young skill fast with good techniques and quality final pass and eye for goal to play behind the striker and allow the main striker to stay in opposition box 18 giving their CBs troubles rather than deploying him deep.

    I will suggest Goergiy Sudakov

  5. “Milan will battle Brentford for his signature.”

    Now there’s a sentence I never thought I’d see anywhere. I think I’m about to cry…
