CM: Furlani in talks with Villarreal over early termination of Gabbia’s loan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s crisis in the centre-back department means that the management ideally need to add two new faces during the January transfer window.

According to Calciomercato.com, Geoffrey Moncada and his team of collaborators will try to sign two defenders to remedy the ridiculous situation which has engulfed the defence, with only Fikayo Tomori still standing at the moment.

Confirmations have arrived regarding the interest in Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior. The directors have been working intensely for a few days on this idea, which they hope would be a loan with option to buy. Arsenal don’t seem to be so convinced at the moment but discussions will continue.

Then, Matteo Gabbia could return early. After six appearances as a starter in La Liga and three in the Europa League, Gabbia’s start to his adventure at Villarreal was certainly positive but he could be on his way back in the winter. CEO Giorgio Furlani is trying to convince the Spaniard to end the loan.

Lloyd Kelly of Bournemouth remains a concrete target but for next summer on a free transfer because the Premier League side are absolutely not open to a January sale.

  1. I never understand why Furlani the d*mbass bought an amateur like Pellegrino when we already have pretty solid CB like Gabbia.
