CM: Ibrahimovic seems set to extend deal with Milan – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to continue his playing career at AC Milan and will soon meet the directors over a contract extension, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com recall how Ibrahimovic is a man of his word as he promised the Scudetto to the Milan fans and in the end he helped deliver it. However, the amount he was able to help on the field was limited by the injury problems he suffered, and he will turn 41 in October while recovering from knee surgery that will keep him out until January 2023.

Nonetheless, the adrenaline still runs strong in the Swede’s veins and his only target is to return to the field in 7 months to guide the team hopefully towards Scudetto number 20 and a second star on the shirt.

In the middle of next week Ibrahimovic will meet Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini to go into details of a new contract. Zlatan would gladly accept a very low fixed part with bonuses based on team and personal objectives, so we are heading towards a one-year extension.
