CM: Ibrahimovic to return on Monday but 14-day quarantine is required

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are preparing to embrace Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will soon return to Italy after spending some time in Sweden with his family. Of course, he won’t be able to get back into action straight away.

According to the latest reports from Calciomercato.com, Ibrahimovic is expected to return on Monday. The Swedish striker took the opportunity to train with Hammarby, of which he owns 25%, during the lockdown in Italy.

Earlier today, reports suggested that he could return already today, but it’s clear that this isn’t the case. The 38-year-old will have to adhere to government regulations, which means he will be in quarantine for 14 days before returning to Milanello.

It remains to be seen when the season will resume, although it seems a decision on the matter could arrive very soon. Bundesliga have already announced their resumption, with the first game being played on Friday next week.
