CM: Ibrahimovic wants to stay at Milan beyond this season – the figures of the renewal

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has started this season in the best way possible: eight goals and one assist in five league games. As a result of this, a renewal of his Milan contract is looking more and more likely.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, there’s no urgency and there haven’t been any meetings over the matter recently. The parties do, however, have the common goal of continuing adventure and the figures requested are clear.

To stay for one more season, Ibrahimovic wants the same conditions he has now: €7m per year including bonuses. This is a request that Milan should be able to satisfy, after a normal game of negotiations with agent Mino Raiola.

The directors know how important the Swede is for the team, despite his age, and the only thing missing is Elliott Management’s go-ahead. This shouldn’t be a problem, of course, as both parties want to continue together.
