CM: ‘Immediate change possible’ – Ibrahimovic to decide on Fonseca’s Milan future

A decision will be made about Paulo Fonseca in the next few days: whether he will remain or whether he will leave. The person deciding his AC Milan fate will be Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and he must decide correctly.

Fonseca’s time at Milan could be over as quickly as it began after a difficult start to the season, and the candidates to replace him are already being evaluated according to reports.

At the present moment, there is little confidence in several areas of the club. Gerry Cardinale is being asked about, the management as a whole are being criticised for the decision to hire Fonseca and the mercato, the manager is being criticised for the start of the season, and even the players are being questioned.

There is a chance to regain confidence among the club, though. Either the management can move forward in the faith that Fonseca turns things around, or they can admit fault and move onto a new figure. Regardless of which plan they move forward with, a decision must arrive soon.

According to Calciomercato.com, the decision will be made by Ibrahimovic – who reportedly is not on the same page as Fonseca currently – and it could arrive in the near future, with the possibility of him not seeing the Derby della Madonnina.

  1. But the decision to bring in Fonseca was 100% on this clown. The choice was clearly unfit before the season started. What are the consequences for the clown?

      1. Papa frezz sad but truth that mercenary is the boss we are doomed he is representing cardinale who is often busy with other businesses that asshole even telling the coaches to play his son otherwise he will fire them

  2. whatever the case maybe Sergio Conceicao is available. He is a winner and has the exact type of football that this team needs.

He is pragmatic and has run a long-term project. He hasn’t lost a dress room and fights with the management. He would be the best option.

    1. I agree and he’s been my frost choice however I also don’t believe in snap judgements. I’m still holding out hope Fonseca can turn it around and when things are clicking the team seems more potent than Pioli’s squads ever did. The problem is the squad hasn’t been able to play well for 90 straight minutes and fold like paper when things are tough

    2. We haven’t got the breathing room for a chance on a (relatively) unproven “project” man.

Sarri. He’ll give us an identity straight away AND he’ll shut “God the Lion” up.

  3. Honestly, I’d be 100% OK with Zlatan packing Fonseca’s bags AND leaving alongside with him.

His ego is not what the team needs now and hasn’t helped anything.

    1. This. Being a great player does not mean you’re going to be a great manager, coach or anything else after. Ibra is a legend on the pitch, but he’s in danger of becoming a buffoon off of it. Running organizations require nuance, not bluster. Furlani and Moncada can follow both of them out. We need a revolution in the C-Suite, not the pitch. We need real football men. A real DS. A different head scout who will look at players beyond Ligue 1. If Cardinale can wake up and smell that coffee, we may yet achieve what he wants to achieve in his manner, but it requires actual talent in the management.

  4. We are gonna chose some finished bum who forgot how to manage a team when Sergio conciecao and Tomas tuchel are available and want to actually join us

    1. Tuchel is a clown. He won the UCL with Lampards team. He then failed at Chelsea and Bayern. He also has a bad relationships with Milan’s best player right now.

      1. Maybe Puli, our current best player and American, should call Gerry and say, “sir, it’s not my place to say so and I understand that, but I’ll risk it and say it anyway; with all due respect but from an American to another American, please don’t hire Tuchel. I do not like him and he does not like me. I’m bleeding rossonero blood, I’m doing all I can for this team, I work super hard, I’m trying to increase Milan’s visibility and merchandise sales in America, so, you and I share the same goals; please sir, don’t ruin my Milan experience!”

        LOL. I’m must half-joking.

Pulisic is the ONE thing that is still bright in the current Milan. I don’t want to see him unhappy and asking to leave.

  5. I said from the start fonseca is not the manager for milan we needed conti in there and I blame ibra on
That. It was bloody disgraceful on Tuesday nite .i wonder what the likes of barisi etc think about what’s
Going on at the club! God have pity on us against inter
    On Sunday.

  6. Ibrahimovic should fire himself first and then take Furlani, Moncada and Cardinale with him. I’ve never seen such a dysfunctional club like Milan.

This is what happens when the club has no Sporting Director and a bunch amateur inexperienced past players in management.

I don’t want to see Milan hire any more past players. Not as coaches or in management. The past is the past.

Milan was on the right path with Gazidis once he left and Maldini got more power than the sh!t show started with horrible signings like Origi. Smh

  7. Papa frezz sad but truth that mercenary is the boss we are doomed he is representing cardinale who is often busy with other businesses that assole even telling the coaches to play his son otherwise he will fire them
