CM: International break arrives with Milan in poor shape – all of the injuries

By Euan Burns -

The international break has arrived with AC Milan in poor form and poor health, as a number of players are battling with injuries which could keep them out of the next Serie A game later in November.

Milan take on Fiorentina on November 25 and coming into that game, there could be a number of important absentees, as Calciomercato.com points out.

Olivier Giroud is going to be suspended after his red card against Lecce, whilst Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino will be out injured.

Marco Sportiello, Rafael Leao and Ismael Benaccer will also all be out. Ruben Loftus-Cheek missed out against Lecce and will be evaluated during the break, whilst Christian Pulisic and Simon Kjaer have a chance of recovering in time.

Davide Calabria had to be taken off at half-time of the Lecce draw so he will also need to be evaluated over the next two weeks. Alongside these absentees and uncertainties, there is the potential for injuries from those on international duty.
