CM.it: Barcelona winger could leave due to Lewandowski – Milan at the window

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are keeping an eye on the situation surrounding Barcelona forward Ferran Torres who could be pushed towards an exit, a report claims.

Calciomercato.it report that RedBird Capital have now officially taken control of the club after the transfer of shares was made official, and the directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will look to seize any opportunities that arise to strengthen the squad, particularly the attacking department which has been very thin due to injuries.

The report cites Catalan source El Nacional who report that Robert Lewandowski has told the Barcelona management that he is struggling to get any chemistry with Ferran Torres, which could have repercussions on the 22-year-old’s future with the Blaugrana.

Milan could therefore launch an attempt to land him, hoping to  take advantage of the opportunity to bring the winger to Italy. Torres has the ability to play in any attacking role and would suit Pioli, so it is a situation to monitor.

  1. CalcioMercato pulling out names and making up stories.
Barcelona agreed to pay €55 million to ManCity for Ferran Torres in 4 installments.
Barcelona also pays Ferran Torres €10 mil a year salary.
Does that sound like a player that Milan would launch an attempt to land?

  2. Not even going to bother reading another worthless article sourced on rumors. The key word you are looking for is “COULD” and that is less than likely chance. You editors must be really scraping the bucket huh?
