CM.it: Espanyol midfielder in Milan’s orbit once again – Napoli and Atletico Madrid also keen

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are keen to reinforce the midfield department with the arrival of another summer signing and an old name has been linked again.

The Rossoneri may already boast the trio of Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali in their defensive midfield ranks, but most major outlets believe they are in the market for a fourth name to give head coach Stefano Pioli the two quality pairings he has asked for.

According to Calciomercato.it, the name of Marc Roca has once again come back into fashion. The Espanyol midfielder is attracting interest from the Rossoneri, Napoli and Atletico Madrid.

The report mentions how Milan and Napoli in particular are also ready to accelerate for the last few purchases in view of the closing of the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old fits the bill as he is believed to want to leave Espanyol, while his contract expires in 2022 and he is valued at around €20million.
