CM.it: Milan and Juve monitoring Man Utd midfielder as agent labels Ronaldo return ‘bad news’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of the clubs who are observing the situation surrounding Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek, a report claims.

According to a report from Calciomercato.it, Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence in the team will affect Van de Beek’s playing time and his positioning on the pitch. In fact, his agent Guido Albers explained to Ziggo Sport that he believes the return of the Portuguese is ‘bad news’ for his client.

“Cristiano arrived on Friday which we knew was bad news for us. Pogba plays on the left, and with Cristiano’s arrival it means another extra player in midfield with Pogba moving away from the left,” he said (via The Athletic).

“We had conversations with Solskjaer and the board. We took the initiative to find a club and our search ended up at Everton. We opened talks with Marcel Brands and Farhad Moshiri.

“On Monday night we received a call from Solskjaer and the club who told us that a transfer was out of the question and that he had to report himself to training the next morning.”

The Calciomercato.it report goes on to add some interesting information regarding a possible opportunity for clubs in Serie A. If United were to not resolve the situation surrounding the Dutchman, he would push again to leave in January.

Juventus, Inter, Milan and Roma are constantly monitoring the situation of the former Ajax star as the midfielder has been linked in the past with all these teams.
