AC Milan have not given up on the idea of signing Kaio Jorge from Santos as reports that he is close to joining Lazio are wide of the mark, it is claimed.
Calciomercato.com recently reported how the Rossoneri are keeping an eye on Jorge, a 19-year-old Brazilian forward. His contract expires in December 2021 and this makes him an attractive target for many teams, with Maldini and Massara also evaluating him at the moment, and the report added how contacts have already been started with his agent Giuliano Bertolucci.
According to Calciomercato.it, Lazio are planning for next season but rumours that they have agreed a €15m deal with Santos for Jorge are wide of the mark. They are interested in him, but so are Juventus, Milan, Napoli, Roma and several big foreign clubs.
Sources close to the player and the Brazilian club have excluded the existence of such an advanced negotiations, while confirming the interest from Italy.
