CM.it: Milan pushing for €5m loan with obligation deal for Lazio centre-back

AC Milan are thinking about signing Francesco Acerbi to bolster the defence and the possible figures of the operation have emerged, according to a report.

Calciomercato.it reports that in recent days there have been significant steps forward regarding the defender’s return to the Rossoneri, where he played in the academy in the early 2010s.

He could take the place of Alessio Romagnoli who is expected to head the other way to join his boyhood club. Milan are seriously considering Acerbi and are looking to secure a loan deal with an obligation to buy linked to the total appearances that he makes next season.

There is already the approval of the 34-year-old who will certainly leave Lazio having suffered a breakdown in relations. The Biancoceleste want €7-8m to sell given he has a contract until 2025, but Milan want a loan with the obligation set at €5m. Inter, meanwhile, are focused on other targets.
