CM.it: Milan’s intentions regarding duo on loan from Chelsea and Man Utd made clear

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have differing intentions regarding their loan duo of Fikayo Tomori and Diogo Dalot, according to a report.

Calciomercato.it are reporting that the Milan management are already planning for a potential return to the Champions League which will happen if a top four finish is secured this season, with the team currently second in the Serie A standings.

In addition to consolidating the squad with renewals of key players, it will also be important for the Rossoneri directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to make important and targeted signings in all departments.

The report adds that the intention is to try to keep Tomori, who joined on loan from Chelsea towards the end of the January window with an option to buy set at €28m. Milan have apparently been impressed by his ‘decent performances’.

Regarding the right-back position, the suggestion is that Diogo Dalot will be allowed to return to Manchester United once his loan deal is up and could be replaced by a free agent like Lucas Vazquez.

Lucas Vazquez is mediocre & will be 30. That is a clear no.
