CM.it: Napoli striker tempted by idea of Milan move – talks underway with entourage

AC Milan have begun contacts with the entourage of Fernando Llorente over a potential January move, according to a report.

The idea of signing an experienced striker who could play as a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic has long been floated, and given the Swede’s latest setback it seems the situation has intensified.

According to Calciomercato.it, Milan are interested in signing Llorente from Napoli. The former Spurs man was hoping for a return to Spain, but at the moment the hypothesis is unlikely but there are various solutions available in Serie A.

Sampdoria remain the club in pole position to land him and his entourage is in contact with several clubs. Among these, the report adds, there is also Milan, who are considering the purchase of a centre-forward to complete the department.

Obviously, the idea tempts the player a lot: for now we are in the enquiry stage, but there could be developments in the coming days.
