CM: January attempt ruled out as Milan are willing to risk it for Marseille star

By Isak Möller -

It’s not exactly a secret that AC Milan are scanning the market for a midfielder, as the contract situation of Franck Kessie remains complicated. The parties are yet to reach an agreement and the Rossoneri might have to replace him.

In recent months, Milan have been linked with Marseille star Boubacar Kamara, whose contract with the French side will expire at the end of the season. The 21-year-old can also play as a centre-back and has attracted the interest of many teams.

According to Calciomercato.com, Marseille don’t want to lose the midfielder for free and are thus willing to part ways in a cut-price deal in January. However, as Kessie won’t leave until the end of the season, a winter attempt is to be ruled out for Milan.

Regardless of the renewal situation, the Rossoneri intend to keep the Ivorian for the remainder of the season. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara remain in contact with Kamara’s agent and an attempt in the spring is more feasible, but then they risk losing out to a Premier League side.

Get him in January. This is how we lost out on Kaio Jorge..we took too long to decide 8f we really want the player…Kessie is definitely leaving..same with Romagnoli…Kamara can play in Both their positions…get him or else someone like Newcastle will take him.

Get this boy for us now; stop putting that #traitor into the equation please, please and please

Hãy hành động ngay nếu chúng ta muốn tiến lên.

  4. Dave says:

Foolish transfer plans, hoping on one to sign and hoping on another to wait for you and a hot prospect at that. What a fucking plan

  5. crorossonero says:

I’d rather focus on Bremer for the CB in January, if we will need another one. And Belloti for free, along with Kamara. Who wants to join another club can, why would you want a player that wants to play elsewhere? 😀

    1. Juro says:

Torino is t selling Bremer in January. Summer most likely but not January. Kamara must be sold or Marseille get zero in summer. Take Kamara now for small fee and go after Bremer in summer.

I believe that Milan management better than marseille by letting kessie leave for free… well done
        Keep it that way

  6. Juro says:

WTF? Why wait we need him ASAP and to wait to save a few million is insane. Another team will pay Marsielle in January. This would be a colossal mistake if we squander our chance to get him now. Pls do not wait and take the risk. He wants to come to Milan it would seem so don’t fkn delay like with other players only to save a few million dollars…Look at all of the injuries we’ve had. We obviously need him regardless of what Kessie does. He can play both CM and CB – both areas of need as one or likely both Romagnoli and Kessie will leave in summer. This will give him time to integrate into the squad without additional pressure if we sign him in January. A talent like this for under 10M is a fkn steal and we cannot pass up that opportunity.

  7. C.O.D says:

Get him in January and loan him back to marseille just like we did with adli. I don’t think any other team will give them cash and allow the player to see out the season with them. Marseille will not be able to resist this offer plus they will take whatever cash we offer with that kind of deal.

  8. Cruzio says:

100% agreed with C.O.D. Sign him in January and loan him back to marseille will seem so juicy to them and we will get him for much better price. Milan Management have been Awesome ..The likes of Maldini and Massara above all the Elliot Management…But pls and pls , get us Kamara in January and be sure of Scudetto

  9. Solomon says:

They have to sell kessie first bcus two of them cannot be in the team.
