CM: Juventus line up Milan target as €60-70m man could leave for Man Utd

AC Milan are in the market for a new centre-back in view of the summer transfer window and Maxence Lacroix is on their list, but Juventus have seemingly entered the race.

According to Calciomercato.com, Juventus have the awareness that there is a real risk of Gleison Bremer leaving at the end of the season with Manchester United pressing hard for the Brazilian centre-back. Faced with an offer of €60-70m, Cristiano Giuntoli could agree to sell him.

That is why the Juve sporting director is working on multiple different options, considering that not one but two new additions would then be needed in the defensive department, and they have entered the race for Lacroix of Wolfsburg.

He is described as ‘physically strong, skilled in marking, with great character and with a habit of scoring’ as well as being ‘destined to make the jump to a big team’. Milan like him a lot but Giuntoli is trying to ‘overtake’.

Ousmane Diomande of Sporting CP is another option but Premier League clubs have set their sights on him and he would cost €40m. Mario Hermoso has decided not to renew his contract with Atletico Madrid and the Spaniard could thus be an option on a free, in addition to an investment.
