CM: Juve’s Donnarumma manoeuvre causes Milan to halt Romagnoli-Bernardeschi swap talks

By Oliver Fisher -

The idea of a swap deal between AC Milan and Juventus involving defender Alessio Romagnoli has been put on hold, a report claims.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, there is a real possibility that Juve and Milan could complete the exchange operation involving winger Federico Bernardeschi and centre-back Alessio Romagnoli.

It is described as an operation that ‘suits everyone’ including agent Mino Raiola who would be able to find new accommodation for two of his clients with uncertain contractual situations who have been relegated to a spot on the bench.

However, at the moment the negotiations are on stand-by, because the Rossoneri management prefer to wait and see what will happen with the Gianluigi Donnarumma saga. As has been mentioned in the media in recent days, Juve are in talks with Raiola over signing the goalkeeper and this is a manoeuvre that has not exactly gone down well with Paolo Maldini and co.
