One of the priorities for AC Milan in the upcoming summer window seems to be the signing of a new centre-forward to become a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
As MilanNews writes, the Rossoneri hierarchy are convinced that they want to renew Ibrahimovic also because of his importance in the dressing room as well as his decisive contributions on the pitch.
The Swede helped the whole team grow in 2020 and the results show it, but they also added that a new young centre-forward should be signed to ensure they are not left without any options if Ibra’s physical problems persist.
Calciomercato.com reporter Daniele Longo has provided an update on three strikers linked with Milan in recent days, starting with Donyell Malen of PSV Eindhoven. He confirms that the Dutchman is a profile that the management like, but he has a high asking price at the moment.
Kaio Jorge (four goals in 28 league games for Santos) is a player considered ‘very strong’ by the club but not the ideal profile for the tactical approach of Pioli, though his candidacy cannot be ruled out.
Finally, Longo reports that Boulaye Dia of Stade Reims is not on the list of possible targets ahead of the summer window.

Malen doesn’t fit our profile. He is a striker that loves to move all over the attack like Leao….we need a reference point for the attack…a target man…maybe Giroud can be an emergency option since he’s out of favour at Chelsea and he is still 33…..or Tammy Abraham…or even Wout Weghorst of Wolfsburg.
If Atalanta don’t get top four, what about Duvan Zapata?
Duvan Zapata will be awesome or Wilfred zaha. They are both terrific.
