Leicester and Fenerbahce are both interested in a move for AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu in the summer, a report claims.
La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira actually claimed back in December that Leicester had made enquiries over the former Leverkusen man, while Calciomercato.com added that an asking price of €20million has been set set.
According to the latest from the same outlet, Leicester did register their interest in Calhanoglu last month but did not manage to get a deal over the line.
However, both the Foxes and Turkish giants Fenerbahce are still keen on landing the 26-year-old, whose future with Milan is ‘still to be written’ – presumably meaning he will be assessed between now and the end of the season.
It has also been claimed that Arsenal were offered the chance to sign Calhanoglu by his agent during the January window, while Tuttosport credited Manchester United with interest.
