CM: Liverpool striker due in Italy next week to sign €16m Milan contract

The countdown has begun: Divock Origi will soon arrive in Italy to undergo his medical before signing for AC Milan on a free transfer.

Calciomercato.com report that the negotiation is in its final stages and soon the deal will be formalised as an agreement between the Rossoneri management and the Belgian striker has been found on the basis of a four-year contract for around €4m net per season plus bonuses.

Origi needed to play in the Champions League final against Real Madrid before he could think about his next club, but he was not even on the bench due to an injury problem, and in the meantime the sale of Milan was being resolved.

Now everything is finally ready and next week the formality of the medical tests will be completed, which will be followed by the signing of the contract and the official announcements. Origi will be Milan’s first summer signing.
