CM: Lyon make Milan outcast their priority as negotiations get underway – the latest

By Isak Möller -

In the last few weeks, there have been many reports about the future of Lucas Paqueta, who is destined to leave the club. After a long wait, it seems Milan have finally found a potential buyer for the Brazilian.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Lyon consider Paqueta one of their priorities this transfer window. The Ligue 1 side have been following the 23-year-old for quite some time and their sporting director, Juninho, wants to bet on him.

The initial inquiries with Milan have now transformed into real negotiations, as the journalist continues. The parties now need to find the middle ground between the formula and the valuations, which always is the toughest part of any negotiation.

Paqueta has given his go-ahead to the move and wouldn’t mind trying his luck elsewhere, seeing as his adventure with the Rossoneri didn’t exactly go to plan. It remains to be seen if the clubs will be able to reach an agreement.
