CM: Maldini and Massara meet Ramadani – Milan’s plan for Rebic and Milenkovic

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan had a productive meeting with agent Fali Ramadani on Monday to discuss two of his clients, according to a report.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported on Monday how an agreement was reached between Milan and Ante Rebic’s agent Ramadani over a contract for his client, should he remain. Now, Milan have to negotiate with Eintracht Frankfurt.

According to Calciomercato.com, Maldini and Massara are indeed working on the permanent signing of the 26-year-old, but must find an agreement with Eintracht knowing that Fiorentina have a 50% resale clause on the player meaning they will receive half of any transfer fee the Bundesliga side generate.

The agreement on the evaluation of the player must be found, as Eintracht are asking for €30-35million due to the presence of that clause but Milan are aiming for a discount, knowing that Rebic’s contract expires in 2022.

Centre-back Nikola Milenkovic was also part of discussions, and Milan were informed that the request of La Viola remains €35-40million for a defender explicitly requested by Stefano Pioli. Milan are playing a waiting game on that front.
