AC Milan are continuing to dream about the idea of signing a new left-back to become the deputy to Theo Hernandez, a report claims.
The Rossoneri have been one of the more active teams during the January window, strengthening in all departments with Fikayo Tomori, Soualiho Meite and Mario Mandzukic coming in to bolster the defence, midfield and attack respectively.
According to Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are satisfied with the market they have carried out but they are not standing still, and they are working on the possibility of bringing in one more signing to cover a position that needs depth in their eyes: left-back.
Milan are working on the last signing, without haste and without pressure, and they want to seize the last opportunity and continue to dream big for both the Scudetto and the Europa League.
Matias Vina of Palmeiras is the number one target but the time needed to close the deal makes him difficult to get, though his profile will remain top of the list for the summer too.
Jordan Amavi of Marseille is an alternative, however there is interest in getting him on a free transfer as his contract is expiring. There is talk of enquiries for Iago of Augsburg and for Gaya of Valencia, whose costs are however not attainable.
