CM: Maldini reflecting as Raiola offers Man Utd academy graduate to Milan in €15m deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been offered the opportunity to sign Jesse Lingard from Manchester United, a report claims, but they have other targets in mind.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have the clear intention of giving at least four reinforcements to head coach Stefano Pioli before the 2020-21 season resumed.

Directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have given priority to the renewals of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu, but they also look carefully at the opportunities that the market presents.

Among these could also be Jesse Lingard, as his agent Mino Raiola has offered Milan the chance to sign the England international.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager, the 28-year-old has not found much space as he made just 22 appearances in the league last season.

His contract expires in 2021 and a €15million valuation has been placed upon him by the Red Devils. Milan have acknowledged the opportunity but at the moment they have not yet taken it into consideration because they have other profiles in mind to reinforce the attacking department.

The talks with Raiola have been going on for days and it is not to be ruled out that Lingard could be discussed again.
