CM: Man City and PSG on alert but Milan have clear plan for midfield star with release clause

By Isak Möller -

Ismael Bennacer was a key player for Milan last summer and has continued to perform well at the start of this one. During the summer, there were many exit rumours but the Algerian remained at the club.

Stefano Pioli, the Rossoneri’s manager, has great confidence in Bennacer and the latter is an undisputed starter in the team. Despite the arrival of Sandro Tonali, therefore, the 22-year-old is at the centre of the project.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Paris Saint-Germain approached Milan several times this summer and even made a few offers. However, Paolo Maldini made it clear that a sale wasn’t on the cards, wanting to keep the player.

There is a release clause, as has been reported before, which is only valid for foreign clubs. Man City are also interested but the Rossoneri want to keep Bennacer and the player himself wants to stay and continue his growth at the club.
