CM: Man City and PSG remain interested in Milan star with impending €50m clause

By Oliver Fisher -

Two clubs are showing interest in AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer as he continues to impress, according to a report.

The Algeria international, who joined for €16million from Empoli in the 2019 summer window, struggled at certain points during his early time at Milan encountering issues such as discipline and trying to figure out what his best position is.

Today, he is a player that Milan cannot do without as he has formed a wonderful double pivot with Franck Kessie, but MilanNews recently confirmed he has a €50m release clause that will become active next summer. It must be paid in one single instalment, however.

According to Calciomercato.com, this has not put clubs off as Bennacer is attracting interest from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

City were linked with Bennacer by multiple reports during the summer window with suggestions that Riyad Mahrez was trying hard to convince his compatriot to move to England.

  1. I would love to see Bennacer growing with AC. milan.
Bennacer style of play do not fit Tiki taka of over rated Guardiola.
I don’t think Bennacer wants to play in PSG ( farmer league).
Please stop pushing for the agenda of Bennacer leaving Milan.
