CM: Massara working on January objectives as possibility of striker signing emerges

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan remain active on the transfer market and are thinking about potentially signing another striker in January, according to a report.

The Rossoneri have been hit by a recent injury crisis of sorts as Ante Rebic has started as the centre-forward in the majority of games this season with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud struggling to stay fit, while Pietro Pellegri took some time to find his best condition.

Calciomercato.com report that Milan are not at a standstill on the market but on the contrary, through the work of their scouts and the sporting director Ricky Massara, they continuing to monitor some interesting players for the future.

For example, Massara and technical director Paolo Maldini would not completely exclude the possibility of signing another centre-forward for the squad to complete a department that can guarantee more alternatives, including tactical ones, to head coach Stefano Pioli for the remainder of the season.

    1. Jovic didn’t live up to the expectations at the highest level, he needs to go to a lower team to regain his form.

I would go only for Belotti for 5-10 million & nobody else.

  1. Sign RW -Faivre. And yes if Giroud and Obra’s problems continue be]ring someone on loan. This should show management how much we need young striker that can play each game at all costs – Vlahovic

    1. January is the perfect time to strike for Belotti and Berardi. Belotti on expiring contract and Belotti wants out and Sassuolo is not doing well in Serie A

  2. Scamacca, with so much supply from the midfield he can be lethal. Rebic should be used more as a central striker , he has proven to strive well under pressure. Pellegri will get along. With Tonali we might not need another striker. He makes the team click, even those who were out of form are now raising their standards because Tonali does everything

    1. Scamacca in my opinion is the striker people are sleeping on, he has so much talent and skill for such a tell guy… remind us on anyone??? I really think in the right team he will become world class and he can learn from Ibra and Giroud here. 100% get Scamacca. If we need to not spend anything due to small budget, then Belotti is the choice since he’s free.

  3. Okay, super random name, I can admit it, but when you think about it, I think he can grow a lot here and I think he’s very interesting and has a lot of potential: Jonathan David from Lille.

  4. Jonathan David or Jonathan Bamba. If we sign the former, then Rebic should go black to his natural Left wing position. In case of signing the later, then Rebic should continue playing as a striker.

  5. Scamacca and berrardi is out of option, too expensive

All other expensive transfer or wage strikers need to be screen out of discussion
