The axis between AC Milan and the ‘super agent’ Jorge Mendes seems to be heating up a lot in view of what is a very important summer window for the club.
According to the latest from Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Mendes is working on two separate but also parallel tracks with Milan. Firstly he wants to bring Sergio Conceiçao to Milan as the new head coach, and the comments from yesterday left the door open to a Porto exit.
In addition to that, the journalist claims that Mendes is also working on a deal that would see Lille right-back Tiago Santos join the Rossoneri too. The club’s idea is to get a new player in that position, to challenge for Davide Calabria’s spot.
You might well remember that we were the first to exclusively report last month the links between Santos and Milan, as we were informed that the Diavolo had submitted a verbal proposal of €12m to sign the 21-year-old, which also includes a 20% resale clause in favour of the Ligue 1 side.
In July 2023, Santos signed a five-year contract with Lille who got him for €6.5m from Sporting CP and he has since established himself as a starter for Les Dogues, with over 40 appearances to his name this season, including three goals and two assists.
I was wondering if we would get infiltrated by a major agent somehow. Jorge Mendes has almost orchestrated the last mercato at PSG and now it seems that he could get more influence within Casa Milan. I hope this is not the solution that the management found to make better decisions in transfers. Darwin Nunez incoming?

Crazy bit is, as terrible of a finisher as he is, and it is ghastly at times… he has 18 goals and 13 assists in all comps this season
Darwin Nunez would be an ideal attacker for AC Milan. He’d be a total baller in Serie A with his physique and speed.
I don’t think we nned this guy even calibria as more than two assists in a season we need an upgrade to him
Mendez is super agent. Only hom and Riola(RIzp). Now doing work fir milan is privileged for himself and Milan.
RB is literally the last position we need. We have Calabria, Florenzi, Kalulu, Terracciano, and Jimenez. Even if we sell 1, that’s 4 players. Don’t waste cash on the position we have the most depth for. Put your money where your mouth is and buy a Prolific CF and midfielder, and maybe a backup for Theo if you refuse to give Bartesaghi play time…
Out if these 5 only 3 left but can you rely on them. Yet?
Florenzi just scored a goal not that long ago and kalulu had a strong game last weekend.. what kinda a question is ‘can we rely on them’?
What more do these players need to do for people to understand we don’t need a rb?
