CM: Milan still considering €52m double swoop as Club Brugge announce replacement

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have been heavily linked with Club Brugge star Charles De Ketelaere and his teammate Noa Lang over the last few days. Rumours that now have been fueled by the Belgian club.

The Rossoneri intend to make a big investment for the attacking trio, by the looks of it, and De Ketelaere is at the top of their list. The interest has been confirmed by almost every source and the exit rumours have been fueled additionally.

Earlier today, Club Brugge announced the signing of Ferran Jutglà from Barcelona for a fee of €5m plus a 10% share of a future resale. The 23-year-old can play everywhere in attack (he can replace both De Ketelaere and Lang) and it’s an investment that says a lot.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Belgian side are ready for the departures of De Ketelaere and Lang. They are waiting for a signal from Milan with regards to the €30m respectively €22m men.

The Rossoneri are very keen on De Ketelaere, per the report, but are still reflecting on Lang. In the meantime, Club Brugge have already prepared for the future and that does indeed say a lot.

  1. The two are going to end up in England. I do not see RedBird giving the green light to this investment. Meanwhile, what about the Lille duo and Origi? What is our budget for this window?

    1. apparently we have no budget:))
joking aside I wouldn’t worry too much because I know our management always have good alternatives that are just as good if not better than the main targets.

  2. Botman-Sanches from Lille.
    De Ketelaere-Lang from Brugge.

And we already have Origi. What a transfer window this would be.

With a decent budget and a few player sells this could happen. I guess we’d need around 100m to pull this off. 60m should be guaranteed since we will be in the Champions League and won the Scudetto.

    1. This has been Milan problem, speculations everywhere at end no result. Milan will have 6 or 5 players to purchase after much remorse or speculations nothing will come out it

  3. Instead of Botman, Sanchez, CDK, Zaniolo and Lang.. I would prefer Nunez, CDK and Antony/Berardi. Renew Romagnoli. Add a young potential CB just like Kalulu to hold the line if Kjaer’s form drops and our first team CBs get injured. And then add cheap, young and potential backup players in every other position.

Both Botman and Sanchez are optional. We already have a packed Midfield with Adli and Pobega in, instead of bakeyoko and Kessie. But I can understand Sanchez is needed to fill the gap of Kessie in terms of a strong presence to outmuscle physical teams.

I really don’t want us to part with Rebic. He is a good player and we saw how the game changes the moment he comes on. He is very effective as a player and can play multiple positions. But if Pioli says Rebic is in decline, I would take Pioli’s words.

    Forza Milan.

  4. we would need at the very least 150-170 mil to sign Nunez, CDK and antony, would love for us to get the brugge and lille duo, sign Belloti on a free and get a solid lb deputy. I agree with not letting Rebic go, he just had a poor season with injures.
