AC Milan are currently preparing for what will be a very important game on Saturday, having overtaken Napoli and Inter this past weekend. Empoli are the opponents and some focus will also be put on their talented squad.

Earlier today, Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported that Milan are keeping tabs on Empoli midfielder Nedim Bajrami, who scored against the Rossoneri in the reverse fixture. He isn’t the only one on their radar, though.

According to Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will also be keeping a close eye on the young defender Mattia Viti on Saturday. He was born in 2002 and has impressed a lot this season with his impressive physique.

He’s also left-footed and could thus be a replacement for Alessio Romagnoli, whose future is up in the air currently. Per the report, Milan could consider an Adli-esque deal and leave Viti on loan at Empoli for one more season, thus allowing him to grow.
