As Calciomercato.com report, Sesko had a devastating impact with his new club RB Leipzig as he scored a brace in 20 minutes during the victory they obtained yesterday against Union Berlin.

Sesko’s transfer from Salzburg to Leipzig – two clubs in the Red Bull family – became official on 17 August 2022, with the German club leaving him on loan to the Austrians for another season.

Only two months earlier, the then-director of Milan – Paolo Maldini – had a meeting at the headquarters with the forward’s agent, Elvis Basanovic.

The Rossoneri had studied him for a long time and Geoffrey Moncada was convinced to make a first move. However, Red Bull didn’t even allow real negotiations to start because they already had a clear vision of what the ‘Szoboszlai-esque’ plan would be for the Slovenian.

After the 16 goals scored last season with Salzburg, Sesko aims to repeat the same numbers with Leipzig. Benjamin has everything to impose himself in the Bundesliga too: physique, technique and character.

Milan have never lost sight of him and they remain interested, but they know that today trying to sign him is almost impossible considering that Leipzig want him to grow in Germany for at least two years and already values him at more than €40-50m.
