AC Milan have been working on the signing of Dominik Szoboszlai but the Red Bull Salzburg star appears set to go elsewhere, a report claims.
The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for the talented Hungarian playmaker since the beginning of the year, when it seemed as though Ralf Rangnick would leave Red Bull and join Milan as manager.
Despite that move being off, the intense links with Szoboszlai have continued with a number of sources claiming over the past couple of weeks that Paolo Maldini and co. are still in talks with his entourage.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, the Milan management have been working concretely for a month to try and agree a deal ahead on next summer, and they have actually been given the green light from the player and have reached a total agreement.
However, the Red Bull group want him to move to Germany and for that reason he could sign for Leipzig next week.
