CM: Milan allocate budget for big signing in attack – the amount and No.1 target

The AC Milan management know that they must sign a striker this summer and the budget for the purchase has already been allocated, according to a report.

As Calciomercato.com write, Milan know that there are ‘no mistakes allowed’ when it comes to the signing of a new centre-forward. It is a purchase they simply must get right to demonstrate the ambitions of a strong team that wants to close the gap with Inter and to fight for the Scudetto.

There are many profiles that Geoffrey Moncada and his team of collaborators are currently sorting through to try and find both the right profile and the right deal, with Joshua Zirkzee the player that currently tops their list.

The source claims that Milan will have a budget of €40-50m for the new No.9 and thus the idea is to operate within those economic parameters to look for the best solution to replace Oliver Giroud, who is destined for Los Angeles FC.

It is a budget that would certainly be enough for the likes of Jonathan David, Serhou Guirassy and Benjamin Sesko, while to get Zirkzee a further sacrifice could be needed.

That is why the Rossoneri would be willing to offer up counterparts, to make sure that the cash sum remains within the pre-established boundaries.
