CM: Milan looking to do another deal with RB Salzburg for young striker

AC Milan are looking to do more business with RB Salzburg with young striker Nicolo Turco being pursued by the Rossoneri.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan have developed a good relationship with RB Salzburg and Strahinja Pavlovic is the most recent player to make the move between the two clubs.

Salzburg has been a great place to shop for many teams in recent years with huge names like Erling Haaland, Sadio Mane, Benjamin Sesko, Karim Adeyemi and Dominik Szoboszlai all heading to bigger clubs from the Austrian side.

Young striker Turco left Juventus a year ago in what was a surprising and brave move, and he has spent a year developing his game in Austria.

It has not been a very positive year and he would almost certainly welcome a route back to Italy. He was on track to be part of the Next Gen team when he opted to leave Juventus.

Contact is now underway between Milan and the player but Salzburg are not sure about selling the player that they signed for €2.5m only a year ago.

The thought process is that Turco and Francesco Camarda would be a good strike force for Milan Futuro in Serie C.

  1. I would rather us go for their ST Konate instead of Abraham, same fee, the prior is younger, no injury issues and Salzburg last 2 projects were Haaland and Sesko, soo…

  2. Say what you will about the lack of Italians in the Milan first team but they have been investing heavily into the Italians of Futuro.

I can’t wait ‘till the Futuro pipeline starts yielding dividends.
