CM: Milan appreciate Ilicic but he isn’t a priority for them – two other targets

By Isak Möller -

Milan are looking for a playmaker on the market and have been linked with a bunch of players this summer. It’s been hard to decipher the facts from fiction, therefore, but it has also been interesting.

In the last few hours, the name of Josip Ilicic has gathered steam as both Anto Vitiello and Daniele Longo are claiming that Milan are interested. Contacts have been ongoing for quite some time and a deal is possible.

However, as also stated by Calciomercato.com, there is no rush and the Rossoneri view Ilicic more as a low-cost opportunity. He isn’t a priority for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, who also have a few other players in mind.

Ruslan Malinovskyi is one of them, but the demands of Atalanta are simply too high for the Rossoneri. Mattia Zaccagni is another as the Italian is ready to move from Hellas Verona and take the next step in his career.
